Twitter Network Marketing Formula for Success

Knowing how to apply the Twitter network marketing formula is going to determine your success within Twitter. The twitter formula is quite easy, but most, not only don’t know how to use it, but also don’t know what it is. Essentially, this marketing formula encompasses a number of things.
As a new twitter user, the first thing you should do is to setup your profile. This is so that those individuals visiting your page see that you are active within the community and are far more likely to follow you.
One of the biggest mistakes that new twitter network marketers make is in immediately adding contacts to their following list, without having issued out tweets, updated their profile or uploaded a photo of themselves.
This makes sense if you already have an online presence and are simply incorporating your current contacts from your address book or mailing list, but if you are currently working to establish your brand or grow your business, it is critical that you develop your twitter presence first, and then add or invite new followers.
This begins with your profile page, the entry point that every potential follower visits prior to adding you as a contact.
You need to make sure that you complete your profile and that you provide useful information about yourself so that people can either identify you or know what you are offering, involved in, or are interested in.
There are a few different fields relating to your profile that should never be left out, including your full name and your website URL.
Since your user name becomes part of your twitter profile’s URL, you should also make sure that you use a user name that is relevant to your market, niche or represents your business.
You can choose to use your name, if it is available for registration, your website URL, business name or simply keywords representing the market you are involved in. Personally, I recommend that you use your full name as your twitter username. This is so that your profile URL is structured like this:
http://twitter.com/Jane-Doe or http://twitter.com/JaneDoe
One thing that many people don’t know is that keywords featured within your actual twitter profile URL tie directly in with twitters built in search utility, meaning that whenever someone searches for information using specific keywords, twitter searches through profiles and usernames to pull relevant search results.
This means that you should always include your primary keyword within your profile fields, including your bio area, so that you are far more likely to be included in search results each time someone enters a relevant keyword associated with your market.
It’s important to determine what brand you are creating within the twitter network. If you run multiple websites or businesses, use different names (pen names) for business names, you will need to consider the best approach to take.
Do you want to create a single twitter account that serves as an all-in-one contact center for your different markets, or is it better to create multiple twitter accounts, each one focusing on your different businesses and markets?
Even with twitter’s simplistic structure, and the vast amount of tools that are available to help automate your activity and in building a following, you will still need to spend time actively participating within the twitter network community. This is only if you want to further your business and maximize your exposure.
This can be exceptionally difficult to do if you are running and managing multiple twitter accounts, so take that into consideration when you are developing your twitter account and choosing your main focus.
I recommend that you separate your tweets and activity for each of your main markets does help keep things organized and on track. This means to run each of your twitter accounts independently from each other.
By doing this, it will allow you to send out multiple tweets (messages) for each of your markets, rather than confusing potential buyers by using one account that randomly broadcasts messages covering multiple niches.
Twitter has no problem with people opening multiple accounts, however, you must actively use these accounts in order to keep them.
If you allow an account to become inactive for a period of time, twitter reserves the right to terminate the account and open up the possibility of someone else registering that user name. Thus, if you do not intend on creating multiple twitter accounts, make sure that you log in regularly to keep them active.
From within your twitter account, you will be able to add in a short bio. This field is exceptionally important! Once again, with twitter’s search function, it pulls information from the users’ bios to match them up with keywords entered into the search engine.
This means that you should include keywords that are relevant to your niche market, so that you are able to maximize exposure by being included in search results whenever another twitter user enters in those keywords.
Your bio shouldn’t showcase just keywords. You also want to ensure that you provide a bit of information about yourself, so that people who aren’t familiar with you can get to know who you are, and consider following you.
Your bio field, just like any twitter broadcast you send out, is limited to only 140 characters, so you’ll need to take some time to determine the best terms to describe yourself and your business.
Separate keywords with commas so that each keyword is individually placed.

When you are satisfied with your account, it’s time to write your first tweet. This can make people a little anxious, especially since once you post a tweet, everyone who visits your profile or chooses to follow you will be able to see it.
With twitter marketing, if you ever want to delete a message that you previously sent out, all you have to do is click on the tweet, look for the trash can icon and click it, to delete your message from the time line.
There is also the option to mark specific tweets as favorites, which will make it easy for you to locate the tweet later on, once you have multiple messages in the time line.
When it comes to writing tweets, don’t spend a lot of time worrying whether it’s creative enough, witty enough, or interesting enough.
Once you have become an active member of the twitter community, you’ll find it easier to think of entertaining and useful tweets, and will also be able to respond to ongoing discussions from those you follow and who follow you.
For now, post whatever is on your mind. Working on a website? Post about it. Perhaps you’ve found an interesting website or news story, post about it.
The idea is to simply post enough so that you become comfortable with the twitter system, and more importunately, so that your profile pages shows activity before you start inviting people to follow you.
Once you’ve posted your first tweet, it’s time to start following people on twitter, so that you can build up your twitter presence, and encourage people to follow you in return.
Don’t just sign up and blast out ads every few minutes expecting to achieve anything but annoying those on your list.
Take the time to talk to people individually by directing messages to specific people, post useful information or links to free products and resources that people in your various niche markets would appreciate.
Just like anything else, you need to develop a reputation on Twitter as being someone who is interested in helping others, while developing your own Twitter presence.
A great thing about Twitter network marketing is the ability to quickly locate other people who are involved in your target twitter market, or industry.
For example, if you are looking to find people to interview who may be experienced in specific things, you can find many people who are involved in nearly every topic and subject online.
It’s like a rolodex of the entire online business industry, and as Twitter continues to grow, more and more people are jumping on board, so expect to see Twitter evolve and change to improve their system and add more interactive, productive features that will make it easier to use and to reach out to others.
Posting subtle little updates about your current projects, websites, blogs and products is an easy way to keep people up to day on what you are doing, even people who otherwise might not know who you are, or what you do.
The way you present your updates and the frequency in which you do it, (avoid Twitter spamming) is critical in staying current and helping your brand become memorable and noticed by the community.

In the MLM industry, attrition rate can run as high as 70%. This means that the majority of the people who try a network marketing company don’t survive the first few months. The upside of this is that 9 out of 10 of those survive through ten years become very wealthy. This industry has produced more self-made millionaires than any other single industry in America.
Ninety percent of conquering a problem is to identify the problem. Even addicts have to first agree that they have a problem before they can be helped. So, if in order to overcome the major reasons why people fail, we just avoid those pitfalls. Looking at some residual income ideas for network marketing success:
1. Be prepared to handle rejection.
Who said that any kind of selling was easy. But it all comes down to attitude. If you can understand that a rejection of the opportunity that you are so excited about is not a rejection of you, as a person, then you are on your way. “No” must be interpreted as “next”. This is easier said than done, but it’s the price of success. The internet and other new technologies allow some rejection proof approaches, such as using lead capture pages and autoresponder messages. These methods serve to “pre-qualify” your prospects. However, there still must come a time when you will have to be in personal contact with your downline members.
Part of preparing your mind for these “negative” people is to fill your mind with positive messages. There are many MLM and “positive thinking” speakers that will help you keep your spirits up. You will be surprised to know that motivational tapes and books can give to your attitude a boost, in general. This is one of the benefits of being in this industry. It teaches you to have a brighter outlook on life.
2. Be realistic in your expectations.
To expect too much too soon will only set you up for a possible let down. Accept that this is a legitimate business that would require investment of time and effort and you must be prepared to sow the seeds before you can reap the benefits. Who builds a house without first considering the cost?
When you are quoted, the salaries of big recruiters, be sure to ask how much time and money they spent to get to that level. This information will give you a clearer picture.
3. Once you find a reputable company, be prepared to stay the long haul.
This goes without saying, but if you expect to succeed, you must stay the course. The most successful people in life have gone through very trying times but they have stuck with it and left a legacy behind. It is often said that tough times don’t last but tough people do. The same holds true for those seeing to build a solid residual income. You should commit yourself to at least 3 years before making a decision either way.
Jumping from one opportunity to the next only shows a lack of decision and stability in your planning.
4. Do not make the business more complicated than it needs to be. Stick with what works.
There is always the temptation to improve on the methods that experienced network marketers have shown to work. Go with what works, not with what should work. If you find a system that has been working, just plug into it and squeeze the last drop of success you can get from it. This means that you must show yourself to be teachable to your upline and be willing to teach your downline members the same system. Residual income success comes from doing what works repeatedly until it becomes second nature.
Another note of caution is that you should not expect from your recruits what you are not doing yourself. There are many network marketers who will give advice that they are not willing to follow. In other words, they get their team members to “do the dirty work” for them. This practice takes away from the real meaning of duplication. I am doing the same thing that I am teaching you.
5. Train and then let loose!
The real power of network marketing is the power of leverage. Rather than using 100% of your own effort, you are using 1% of the effort of a hundred. If your downline members become too dependent upon you, then they will be using 110% of your effort. This can easily lead to instant burnout.
So the key is to train your frontline members, then train them to train their frontline members. As you gain leadership experience in the business, then you can occasionally pick up the slack for a colleague. The important thing is that your team members understand that effort is required on their part or they cannot expect your support.

Final Note: If you have multiple streams of income, you should take a look at your income sources and evaluate them to see how many are residual and how many are linear. The key is that you may want to “balance your portfolio” so you can have income coming in even if, for some reason, you are not able to work. Especially as a small business owner, this can be critical to your survival.
Even one of your fat monthly checks tucked away on a fixed deposit account will provide you with residual income…accrued income.

Marketing training is one of the most important elements I look for in a MLM or network marketing company. The reason is that this is how we share our business, products, and services with other people. The problem is that most people don’t know how to market their business.
Damajon states that it offers trainings, but never goes further than letting you know that they do provide training. From their information provided on the internet, they say that your marketing should entail connecting with people. What they don’t talk about is how. This is unfortunate because knowing how to connect with people is one of the most important skills in marketing that one can possess. If you are not shown how, then this leaves a new member either trying to market their business without knowledge in marketing, which leads to failure, or after thirty to ninety days, they end up leaving for another opportunity. But, most MLM and network marketing companies know this and they also know that there are individuals who already possess the marketing skills and those are the ones who will more than likely stay. Direct sales companies make a lot of money off of these individuals.
In saying this, I will add that if you are one of those who finds yourself struggling with your network marketing company, there are companies, systems, individuals who can help. The key element is your attitude. Are you willing to learn these skills and do you have the patience to stick it out despite the obstacles you may face? If yes, then your next step should be to seek out these resources and find one that you can work with that will give you the skills you need to build success.
In essence, your success it going to be determine by you. Depending on your company will not be beneficial to you for the reasons I stated above. You need those skills. If you are interested in using the internet, I know of one company I have used that has given me my skills in marketing. Don’t let your network marketing company determine your success. Find that training resource and experience the life you deserve.

The problem with some of these books and programs is that for every rule that some experts tell you must be in place in order for the right company to exist; there are a lot of exceptions to those rules. Don’t buy into all those rules about picking the right company.
Often, it will be your common sense that will serve you best. So, here are the things to look for in selecting the right company to join. There are five key factors to look at and consider in choosing the right company. Now, it is quite possible that you are already with a great company. Well, take these five factors and incorporate them into your sales and marketing tools.
1. The first factor is that the products, services, and compensation plan must be appealing to you. Ask yourself this question. “Is this company going to appeal to my prospects and customers?” Ask yourself, “Can I sell this?” Next, ask yourself “Does the company and everything that comes with it, does it have mass appeal?”
2. Most important, the company must be owned and managed by people who are honest, experienced, and competent. The people running the company must be good decision makers.
If you look at the history of network marketing, you will see that the tens of thousands of people who have owned and managed network marketing companies, most have failed.
Despite the fact that many have failed, there are people who have made tremendous sums of money. If you know how to play the game, know how the tactics work, and know how to apply them, you can still make a lot of money with a company that has had a two to five year run.
Network marketing companies are much more fragile than traditional companies. One bad decision on the part of those who are running the company, can cause the sales of that company to plummet. It all comes to who is making the day to day decisions. Leaders within a network marketing company must be great decision makers. Thus, learn everything you can about who is running the company.
3. There must already be a demand in the market place for the products or services that the company offers. The bigger the demand, the better. If there isn’t, then that means you and your downline must create the market and this is a difficult thing to do. So, when making a decision on whether to join a particular network marketing company, ask yourself, “Is there already a demand for the products and/or services?”
4. The compensation plan must be fair to everyone across the board. However, it must also offer rewards for the overachievers so that the overachievers are compensated for their extra productivity, their hard work, their dedication, and their leadership.
Side Note: There are only 4 compensation plans. All of the others are a derivative of these four. Many people have made millions of dollars with each of the four plans.
5. Company must have something special about it. It must have something that makes it sizzle; something that makes the opportunity unique; something that makes it stand out from the crowd because this will be something you want to sell. This is something you can use to persuade others.
These five factors are all that you need to present you with the opportunity to succeed. From here on out, the ball is in your court. The success factors are about you and the decision you make.

What has the holidays got to do with your MLM network marketing?

What can you do to accelerate your MLM network marketing business during the Holiday season and gets it going during what most people think as the “sluggish time” of the year for network marketing?
Some things you can do for your MLM network marketing success during the holidays.
1. Fruit baskets.
You can get inexpensively small fruit baskets, put your samples or coupons in and decorate it in the colors of your MLM network marketing company.
Include an invite to a seminar that they can attend at not cost. Give them out to friends, neighbors, associates, clients, customers, and family. You will glad you did.
2. Holiday audio cards.
Send out with your Christmas cards a CD you recorded especially for that person, and wish them happy holidays. Then tell them you would love to chat with them at the start of the year because you want to give them the gift of success.
This is a great way to introduce the concept of MLM network marketing success to these folks.
3. Hold a holiday customer appreciation luncheon or reception.
You can do this at your home. Simply invite your best MLM customers to a holiday appreciation event, and make them the superstars of that party.
Have small gifts for them, and let them know how much you appreciate their business. Then ask them for referrals for the coming year. You will get them from every single person who was at that event.
4. Holiday upline open house.
If you have an organization, you could either open your house or someone who has a sizeable home and invite your MLM network marketing distributors to an open house.
Have them bring guests. Have a party that celebrates the holidays but is sponsored by your company. Let it be a fun social with music and games, and then connect with the guest to follow up in January.
5. Neighborhood holiday mailer.
Go to the library, and look in the cross-reference index for your address. You will notice there are a ton more in that index that are in your neighborhood.
Make a copy of the addresses, as they are your neighbors, then send them a Christmas card introducing yourself as their neighborhood rep, and wish them a Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
Then follow up in January and see if you can set an appointment to chat with them about your MLM networking products. Telephone numbers are included on the cross-index reference guides found in your library. You are their neighbor, and that gives you some instant connection with them.
6. Visit community holiday functions.
The thing is to connect, connect and connect.
You need to connect to new prospects during the holidays and community functions are a great way to do this. Get out and become a “holiday MLM network marketing machine.”
Network and meet people and make new friends and give away something to them as a holiday gift. Make sure every person you talk to has a gift and your card. And that you have some form of contact info as well. Check your Sunday newspaper for where these events are.
7. The holiday success card.
Send people you know, and also prospect a seasonal card, and include within it an article about success, goal setting, leadership, time management, or any other success oriented topic. This will set you apart from the rest.
Rock your MLM network marketing business during the holidays. You will be surprised at what might happen to your business.
